January to Early March – The Short dry season
In the green season, there is a chance of rain. January to February is one of the warmest months and the Landscapes are still beautifully green. There are lots of newborn animals running around – and a lot of predator action too and it considers the best time to visit national parks. Early March tends to be dry while the long rainy season begins at the end of March – but wildlife viewing safari is excellent.

June to October – The dry season

The latter end of the dry season in September also sees the beginning of better sea visibility off the coast of Zanzibar making it an excellent time to snorkel and dive. Sea visibility is generally good
