Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, where your Kilimanjaro adventure begins. Meet your trekking team, get briefed about the journey, and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Embark on your Kilimanjaro journey at Machame Gate. Trek through lush rainforests, a habitat for diverse flora and fauna. Your first destination is Machame Camp, nestled around 3,000 meters (9,840 feet).

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Ascend further, transitioning into the moorland zone. The landscape evolves as you approach Shira Camp, positioned at approximately 3,840 meters (12,600 feet).

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp

Navigate the Shira Plateau, gaining elevation. The trail leads to the Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp at about 3,950 meters (12,960 feet). The Barranco Wall challenge awaits on the horizon.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Conquer the Barranco Wall, a thrilling scramble. Traverse diverse terrains, including valleys and ridges, en route to Karanga Camp, resting at around 4,035 meters (13,200 feet).

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Ascend through alpine desert landscapes, reaching Barafu Camp at approximately 4,640 meters (15,223 feet). Here, you’ll prepare for the demanding summit push.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

Embark on the summit attempt under starlit skies, reaching Stella Point and eventually Uhuru Peak, Kilimanjaro’s zenith at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet). Descend to Barafu Camp, then continue to Mweka Camp around 3,100 meters (10,170 feet).
