Best Time to Visit Serengeti
- Migration: The Serengeti is famous for its annual wildebeest migration, which takes place from June to November.
- Dry Season: The dry season, from June to October, is considered the best time to visit Serengeti as the weather is sunny and dry, and the wildlife is easy to spot.
- Wet Season: The wet season, from November to May, can be a good time to visit for bird watching and seeing newborn animals, but some areas of the park may be inaccessible. The ideal opportunity to get off-season prices.
- Climate: The Serengeti has a tropical climate, with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons. Wet from Nov-May, dry Jun-Oct, warm year-round. Climate shapes ecosystem, wildlife patterns & wildebeest migration in Serengeti.
- Wildlife Viewing: The best time for African wildlife viewing in Serengeti is during the dry season, as animals tend to congregate around water sources and are easier to spot. However, wildlife can still be seen in Serengeti throughout the year, and each season offers unique viewing opportunities.
