Day: Tarangire Game Drive

Depart Arusha around 07:00 hours and drive to Tarangire National Park (Total area of 2850km2/ Elevation 900m–1100m above sea level)

This park is Tanzanian third largest national park and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The park is formal with its big Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of the Tarangire national park and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the lifeblood of the park.  a lot of animals like predators and prey alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing.

Game drive with packed lunch at the picnic site and later on drive-up towards the great Rift Valley Wall to Karatu Town for dinner and overnight

Day: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Breakfast at the lodge and enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Descend 610m from the crater rim to the crater floor

Home to over 120 species of mammal including the African Big 5. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

Game drive with packed lunch at picnic site beside the hippo lake and later on ascend from the crater floor and drive back to Arusha before dark
