6-Day Great Migration Safari

Day: Arrive in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport and you will be picked up by a J.M Tours representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha, where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of future adventures.

Day: Tarangire Game Drive

After breakfast, around 07:30 hours, you will be pickup by our safari guide. We set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees.

Enter Tarangire, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other wildlife, from giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, baboons, leopards, and many more.

In the afternoon, we will serve you packed lunch at a picnic site and later on drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day: Ndutu Plain Area

After breakfast, around 07:30 hours, you will be pickup by our safari guide. We set out for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will proceed crossing the Ngorongoro Highlands to Ndutu Plain Area, which is in between Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro. Here we’ll start the game drive for this day with special attention to the great migration.

Day: Ndutu Plain Area

Rise and Shine! Today you will do an early morning game drive and be served breakfast at the camp.

Experience the actions of the wildlife from the calving season of wildebeest migration to the lions, leopards, and cheaters’ hunting techniques.

In the afternoon, be served packed lunch at a picnic site and later on dinner and overnight stay.

Day: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will descend inside Ngorongoro Crater, which lies 600 meters below the crater rim.

Game drive with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. We will see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and, if we are lucky, black rhinos through the grass. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha.

Day: Departure from Tanzania

Today; We will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International airport for your departure flight.
