Overview:

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola” route is the only route that offers sleeping huts in dormitory-style accommodations in lieu of camping. Marangu route 6 days itinerary is advisable though you can still hike for 5 days and miss the acclimatization day at Horombo which may sometimes be the reason for not making it to the top

Summit night from Kibo Hut is steep and passes Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak. It is a shorter route with a steeper incline and less time for acclimatization it tends to have a lower summit success rate.
